I wasn't a fan of the original movies, partly because it's too hard to adapt the fantasy elements of the games in live action and not have it look like cheesy. I heard about this series but this is the first time I've seen the video. I like that they're giving it a real world feel. In my opinion it's the only way to make it work live action. I hope they still give Scorpion and Sub Zero some kind of a costume though.
