A Christmas with war veterans!

December 24, 2010 – WWII Filipino Veterans’ Home (Los Angeles, California)
The Scene Opens with DeTornado talking at the podium to give Honor to the Filipino war veterans.
DeTornado: This oldies was been an inspiration to me, their courage to fight The Japanese even without enough armaments shown how great and strong the Filipino are, and if without them, the American may not won the pacific battle on World War two! I have great faith that the US government will finally give their promises onto you grannies! Soon The glory you been waiting forever will finally be given to you all, unlike Mr. Hawthrone who been a failure since the start of his failed career and been also waiting forever with nothing, he may die without the elusive honor he is dreaming, but you Filipino War veterans are symbols of success, the living medals of Honor!
The crowd responded DeTornado’s speech with applause as he walked down the stage.
One of the veterans (who is obviously suffering Parkinson’s disease) approached and talked to him.
Veteran1: Hey I love how you praise us, but who are you?
Detornado smiles.
Another veteran joined the conversation.
Veteran2: yes, but you look familiar, you must be an actor or musician…. Aren’t you?
DeTornado: No sir! I aint actor nor musician.
Veteran1: so who are you? You had talked about the 70’s era wrestler Waylon on your speech, aren’t you? Do you know him?
DeTornado: Yes sir, I know Hawthrone, for I am a wrestler too…
Vetran2: oh really? You know son, I like you , I wish you to succeed on your career.
Vetaran1: speaking of Hawtrone, is he’s still alive? I can still remember that fake black beard bastard!
Yeah he fought like a stupid fly.
DeTornado: yes sir, he’s still alive, actually I am booked against him on SWA’s Yearend show.
Veteran2: who the hell had booked you to him? He can’t even win a match when he was younger, and now that he’s very old, how they would think that he can win to a younger kid like you!
DeTornado nods and smiles at the war veteran.
Veteran2: But never count the old school out! We can still bring a fight! And sometimes experience matters, w ben to this world longer so we knew more way to steal a win or to cheat in hundred way.
Detornado: I know it granny! I already beaten him before, and I will do it again!
Veteran: good luck to your match son, and also regards to our favorite wrestler - Tropical Tornado!
DeTornado: sure granny…
how Mr. Hawthrone wished to be one of them, men of honors even on the old years.
Then the facilitator calls everyone to start the traditional Christmas Dinner. They ate Filipino Traditional food like chicken and pork adobo, fish sinigang, chicken tinola, and bibingka at puto bungbong.

December 26, 2010 – FCK Radio, LA California.
The Sounds of Tropical Tornado (Holiday Edition)[/center]
The “ON AIR” signal lights on and De Tornado starts to play the Show’s theme song and begun spitting out his trade mark opening words:
DeTornado:
“Once again… Once more… Your Radio is not defective…
It’s just me… “The Tropical Tornado”
and welcome to the another edition of
“The sounds of the Tornado”.
(The final chorus of the theme song tuned was up a little bit and faded when the song ended)
DeTornado: Yah Kumpadres!...You hear it right…. This is the defective radio on its finest… and tonight would be a very special night… Because it is Christmas time! Even it is holiday; I am still here to entertain you with freaking good music and some hot pro wrestling rumors!
DeTornado plays the first song of his playlist, “Happy Christmas (war is over)” by John Lennon.
After the song, DeTornado resumes talking.
DeTornado: Last night, I’d been to Filipino World war II veterans’ home and met some great oldies for their Christmas party… yes they are great enough to have my recognition for they fight for the freedom of the world. I gave the recognition that Mr. Hawthrone will never have on his life time…. The recognition for a hero!
I enjoyed talking with those veterans, how they cope with the war crises and what had driven them to success! I wonder what Hawthrone had driven too…. To his failure! *laugh*Well, Waylon Hawthrone is the oldest person in the locker room, he been to the business for almost 40 decades, but never won any world title, he’s worse than Jimmy Duggan!
How can he claim the glory he’s dreaming if until now, he’s still acting like a five years old brat!
He should start acting as a grown man so the kids would start learn in honoring his fading legacy.
Look, as a Filipino, I grew up honoring old folks which includes Mr. Hawthrone, but what can I do, this is just business, and nothing personal.
I already faced him before, I tried my very best on not to permanently break his brittle bones or try to avoid hitting him near his heart so it won’t stop on beating, that’s only few of the challenges I have to face every time I face this old fart in the ring, and I am tired of doing these.
He is known as The Geriatric one, which means someone who needs a special care, so it also means that he should be somewhere resting and enjoying his pensions with some private nurse, and not in the ring.
I hate to see you being beaten with everyone in SWA, leaving you bloody with malfunctioning bones.
How many times I need to beat you so you would stop bothering me? I don’t have that much time to waste with stupid oldies like you!
So please granny…. Back off, get your retirement and never go back here, again… never ever!
I already beat the best of SWA, from Captain Insanity, to Gabreal Martin, to Larsen Van der Kamp, and Psycho Dragon…. Yes indeed, before… I was vulnerable in non title match, but not really and it was before… everything had changed now, I already grew up to be the best! If you will turn back to the history, two of my five loses were from a tag team match, and the remaining three were from triple threat match, so it means that I am unbeatable in one on one match, am I right? And also, I am the only person here in SWA who never lost via pin fall or submission; so technically, I never lost any of my matches for I am the best you can ask for a wrestler!
For the glory is mine, for today and the coming years are my time, my era, the mighty era of the Tropical Tornado!
DeTornado plays another song from the playlist as the scene fades to black.
