I have to say, I'm still not thrilled about Ryan Reynolds casting. Some of the comedy moments in the trailer annoy me. Overall I think it looks really good, and unlike a lot of other recent comic book movie, they're not trying to make it more reality based than it's supposed to be. It still has that sci-fi element to it. As much as I hate Ryan Reynolds I have a lot of hope for this movie since Martin Campbell is directing. He's previously done GoldenEye, Casino Royale, Edge of Darkness, The Mask of Zorro, Legend of Zorro and Vertical Limit.

I really hope they touch up the CGI. The suit looks so cartoony. It honestly looks cheaper than the CGI. Spiderman suit.

Too much comedy for my taste. Suit needs to be darker. Otherwise it looks amazing. Can't compare to what Marvel is putting out these days though.
Hopefully this movie will be as good as First Flight.

After Punisher: Warzone, Wolverine and Iron Man 2, I was thinking Marvel has started to tank their own properties.

I thought Wolverine was good. Iron Man 2 was good until the final battle at the end. War Zone, however, was crappy from start to finish. I'm looking forward to Green Lantern, though.

I was talking about the Marvel Movie Universe they had started. So Iron Man 1 & 2, Hulk and the upcoming Thor and Cap America movies. I thought Iron Man 2 was great. Everything else from Marvel though (especially the X-Men series) is meh or crap.
Just might be my personal bias though.
