~Danny O'Callahan is walking down the street in his old neighborhood. He is approached by a thug about his age.~
Thug - Danny, when did they let you out?
Danny - About a year ago Sam.
Sam - You've been free for a year and you didn't bother to come see your old friend Sammy.
Danny- Is that what we are Sam?
Sam - Of course we're friends.
Danny- Funny, you could have never told by the way you ran off and let me take all the heat for the robbery.
Sam - Come on that's ancient history man. How was I supposed to know the cops would respond to the alarm so quickly. I was just going to get some help.
Danny - Save it Sam. I'm not interested in your lame excuses. I suffered because you decided to pull a gun on that cashier. You let me take the fall.
Sam - Then let me make it up to you. I've got a big deal comin' up. I could use a 5th man.
Danny - Forget it. I'm done with you, and I'm done with crime.
Sam - Don't tell me you've gotten all soft on me now.
Danny - I'm not soft, I'm just done being a criminal.
Sam - Yeah, well your new act don't fool me. You're the same old scumbag you always were. Guys like us don't change.
Danny - I have.
Sam - We'll see, we'll see.
~Sam walks away. Danny shakes his head and looks at the camera.~
Danny - Most times he would be right. Most guys with my background wouldn't change. They would try to live straight for a while, but eventually they get sucked back in. I ain't most guys though. I'm not going down that same old road again. I can't go through life breaking laws and breaking lives. But make no mistake about it, I ain't soft. Them retarded cows in Got Milk are gonna find that out on Saturday Night Fever. Like my partner, Bryce Bridges I too wish this were a handicap match. I don't play well with others, and this Bridges guy don't seem like the type who would have my back. It seems he would rather I just sit back and let him shine, but that ain't gonna happen. This is my chance to prove that I got what it takes to get the job done in the ring. After back to back losses, I am hungry, and I am going to be as vicious as you've ever seen me.
~Danny walks over and opens up the door to his 1995 Ford Taurus. He looks back at the camera.~
Danny - I'm here to prove that I'm the toughest guy around, up to this point I have failed that task, on Saturday Captain Insanity's cows are gonna be on the receivin' end of all my frustrations. They're gonna wish they never left the pasture, cause a few minutes in the ring with me will make the slaughterhouse look like Disneyland to those two cows. If my partner thinks he's gonna walk away from this match with all the glory he better think again. I don't care how hard his kicks are, or how hard his elbows are, I'm out to prove that I'm the best. If Bryce wants to try to steal all the glory I will have no problem layin' him out. Partner or no partner this is my time to shine. They don't call me Fightin' Irish because they thought it sounded cute. They call me Fightin' Irish cause I got a temper, and when my temper shows up, people get hurt. So Bryce, I suggest that you be the one to step back and let me turn the cows into ground beef. If you get in my way, you'll be sorry.
~Danny gets in the car. After the engine struggles some it finally gets going. Danny drives off towards Jersey for Saturday Night Fever.~
