Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian roster. Just watched Winnipeg's always mediocre fireworks display from the rooftop of my apartment building. My 19 month old daughter was much more impressed than I was. I was too busy fending off those stinkin' mosquitoes. Blasted malathion apparently doesn't kill the ones that are 6 stories up. Hope everyone enjoyed the day.

Happy early 4th of July to our American roster. To me it's just a normal Sunday, but to most of you today was just a normal Thursday so I guess that makes us even.

Yeah only in this city can they spray for mosquitoes and have absolutely no effect. Proud to be a Canadian but humiliated to be a Winnipeger.
