~Danny O'Callahan walks near the docks of Old Harbor in South Boston.~
Danny- This week I make my debut in the Sedition Wrestlin' Alliance. This may be my first Pro Wrestlin' match, but that don't mean I dont' know how to fight. I been fightin' all my life. First it was in the the school yard, then the streets, then the prison yard, and then back to the streets. I haven't been trained in some fancy wrestlin' shool, I got my education in the school of hard knocks, and let me tell you, I got a P.H.D. in hard knocks.
~Danny looks over at a gang dealing drugs.~
Danny- Don't get me wrong, I ain't complainin'. Every hard knock I've taken has only made me tougher. I ain't the type to gripe, and whine and moan about how hard my life has been. It was no picnic, but that's the card I was dealt. I got into trouble, I did my time in the slammer and it taught me a few things. Number 1, it taught me how to survive. I thought I already knew that, but survivin' the streets with your gang of thugs at your side ain't the same as surviving on your own in the slammer. Number 2, it taught me the type of life that I didn't want to lead. I don't want to spend my whole life runnin' from the cops, and goin in and out of jail. That's why I'm here in the SWA. I'm here to find a way to release my anger in a way that won't end with me in handcuffs.
~He again looks over at the gang they begin to harass a young teen who walks by Danny shakes his head.~
Danny- This week I will show the SWA what this neighbourhood has turned me into. This week I get to unleash all my anger and agression on a decrepid old geezer, Waylon Hawthorne, tryin' to prove that things get better with age. In your case old man this ain't true. You're nothin' but a joke. If you even think that you can last 3 minutes in the ring with someone like me, than you belong in a home. I am personally insulted that the first person put in my path is some, stupid, crazy old man. I came here for a challenge, not a chance to beat up old men. If I wanted to beat on old people I'd go back to the streets and start muggin' old ladies, and stealing old men's wallets.
~Danny sits down on a nearby bench.~
Danny- My best advice for you old man is that you just keep your distance from me. Stay out of my way, and let the final match for the #1 Contenders spot be my first match. Cause I guarantee there'll be more competition there than you'll ever offer me. Just stay home old man. Watch the news, count your pennies, go to bed early. Safe yourself the trouble, cause I'll tell ya, if you show up I'm gonna hurt ya. I'll rip the wrinkled skin right off of your saggy body. I didn't come here to screw around. I came here to show that I'm the toughest guy around, and make no mistake about it, I will porove it. So old man, if your crazy enough to show up, I just hope you get to walk out alive, but don't count on it.
~Danny hears someone scream. He looks back and sees the gang attacking the kid they were harassing. Danny runs over and helps the kid out. He fights off the three gang members and they take off. He helps the kid up.~
Danny- Are you OK kid?
Kid- Yeah.
Danny- These streets aren't safe at this time of night. Go home, and stay away from guys like that in the future. Stay in school and do something with your life.
Kid- I will.
~Danny sighs as the kid runs home.~
Danny- He won't, he'll end up in the gangs just like everyone else in this neighbourhood. That's what this place does to you. I only hope that one day he will wise up like I did. Don't get me wrong though, just cause I got a heart, that doesn't mean I'm some softy. You'll see this Saturday, you'll see.
~Danny turns his back to the camera and walks away.~
