RULES
There are a few rules we ask you to follow when posting on the boards.
Rule #1:
Don't write another SWA member into your RPs without permission
This is the only rule that once broken will result in an automatic loss. This rule applies to all members, not just your weekly opponent. If you have asked permission to use someone elses character beforehand, and they have agreed to it, then you are free to write them in. If you use another member's character without their permission, you will lose your match, regardless of how strong the rest of the RP is. You are free to use the backstage staff characters of Travis Malloy, Joe Aiello or Virgil if need be.
Rule #2:
Be careful of your content
Feel free to write creatively, but be careful not to cross any lines. The judging staff are lenient, but try not to cross any lines. Sexually explicit, racially offensive, religiously prejudice, or excessive use of language could be removed from the boards if the staff chooses. Remember that we are lenient, and have rarely needed to censor, but don't go too far.
Rule #3:
Don't advertise another fed on the boards
Any advertising requires permission from the staff. We are open to affiliates, but permission must be obtained before posting.I will delete any posts that advertise competing feds. Only with our permission can a fed be advertised on the boards or the site.
GUIDELINES
To keep the boards as friendly as possible, please keep these guidelines in mind when posting.
Don't criticize another SWA roleplayer
Yes, there are a lot of bad roleplayers out there, but who cares? Criticizing them or pointing them out as being lousy will only cause arguments. Remember that even some of the best roleplayers started out kind of crappy. If you just let them develop, they'll improve on their own.
Don't complain about a loss
Strangely enough, this has never been a problem in SWA. Lets keep it that way. The voting staff are very fair judges of roleplays. If you notice that someone has broken Rule #1, and somehow we failed to catch it, bring it to our attention and it will be dealt with.
