Wrestlemania Predictions

So, let's see what everyone thinks the outcome will be at this years Wrestlemania.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho

I think Edge is a lock on this one. The chances of Jericho walking away as champ are very unlikely, and would weaken Edge's stint as a face.

Batista vs. John Cena

I am really hoping they give it to Batista, and I think they will. Cena has won the title at Wrestlemania far to many times. They need to switch it up. If they headline with this match instead of Edge and Jericho, then Cena will win since Mania has only ended on a downer once in the last 25 times.

Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon

This one is obvious. Bret will win. I can't wait to see it. I don't expect an earth shattering match here, but it should still be entertaining.

Money In The Bank

Either Christian or Kofi Kingston. Both are overdue, or in Christian's case long overdue, for a push to the top.

Big Show & Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth

2 of the worst tag teams ever pieced together. I like John Morrison & Miz, but why did they think Big Show and R-Truth would make good partners for them. I think Miz and Show will win, and Morrison will go back to being a heel and doing what he does best.

HHH vs Sheamus

Who cares, who cares, who cares? Did I say who cares? This match has all the makings of a clunker. I think Triple H will probably job to Sheamus, but I again I really don't care.

Undertaker vs. HBK

Could go either way. HBK seems like he's close to retirement, but I think it would be a cheap way to send him off. Ric Flair got a 6 month storyline to send him off, if this is all HBK gets I'll be mad. I think they may just make this one a draw.

Orton vs. Cody vs. Dibease

Very disappointed in how they built this one. They made Dibease and Cody come across as weak. I don't think anyone would buy either of them winning. Orton will win this one, and probably go full fledged face. That's gonna suck.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho

From Royal Rumble until now the entire WrestleMania PPV feels like it's been built around Edge. Even Jericho winning the title felt like a move meant to give Edge a decent win at WrestleMania.

Batista vs. John Cena

I can't stand either of these guys. I'm sick of seeing both of them in the World Title picture. My guess is Batista will win just because WWE probably doesn't want a double title shakeup, and Edge is already odds on favorite to win.


Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon

Bret's not the type of guy to sign with WWE unless it was going to be worth it. The Montreal screwjob damaged the Hitman character so this is Bret's chance to redeem it. I really doubt that Bret would have resigned with WWE if he wasn't given his chance to redeem his character.


Money In The Bank

Christian will win. Two reasons. 1- he's LONG overdue as you said. 2- If Edge is likely to win his match then him and Christian are a natural setup for a summer feud.


Big Show & Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth

I pick Big Show and Miz just because John Morrison is too good to be kept in tag team purgatory.


HHH vs Sheamus

I can't even pick a winner. I have so little interest I'm barely aware of the feud.


Undertaker vs. HBK

Like you said, this one is really tough to call. I don't see them ending Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak anytime soon. I also don't see Michaels retiring just like that. Because of how legendary their last WM match was a draw would be too much of a cop out. In this one I'll go with the option that's easiest for WWE to reverse. A lot of people have lost retirement matches and then come back 6 months later. I'll pick Undertaker in this one.


Orton vs. Cody vs. Dibease

I don't see Orton jobbing to either guy just yet.


CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

Here's the match you missed. This will be a great match one way or the other. The gimmick behind it is if Punk wins then Mysterio has to join the Straight Edge Society. That's an interesting stipulation that could make for some good TV in the future.

[Michael Saint]

Edge vs Jericho
- Edge will win like everyone else said. I hope this is the main event really. Cena vs Batista is a weak match to main event and like last year it will be a big disappointment for main event.

Batista vs Cena
- Cena will win. I have very little doubt about that one. I see him winning and then the MITB winner cashing in to take it from him right afterwards.

HHH vs Sheamus
- HHH wins and kills off any heat that Sheamus has. Would not want someone taking over HHH spot in WWE if he can prevent it.

Bret vs Vince
- This one is in the bag. Bret will win, but I see interference from Batista and Cena in the match. This could be a way to piss off Vince if he lost to lead to Cena losing the title to the MITB winner right after.

Money in the Bank
- I want to see Christian win. I hope he does. Kofi will be alright. I can see Drew winning that way a heel could cash in and beat Cena for the title. Think about Vince saying Drew is his guys and his chosen one.

Show Miz vs Morrison/Truth
- Show Miz will win. I like Truth and Morrison, but both are far too good for where they are at the moment.

Orton vs Ted vs Cody
- It will be a handicap match and Orton will pull off the win, but only cause midway in the match the other two will turn on one another.

HBK vs Taker
- Not sure it could go either way. Neither man need the win. HBK does not need to end the streak. Taker does not need to be who retires HBK.

Punk vs Rey
- Rey will win this I think.

I don't see why else they would make the stipulation if they didn't plan to go through with it.

Heres my only predictions and I doubt it will happen

Christain wins the MITB. Edge beats Jericho. Christain then comes out, Cashes in and wins the World Title to end off Wrestlemania.

Everyone seems to be in agreement. I'll give a prediction of Taker winning and HBK retiring. I then predict Taker retires with in a few months as well.

Ok. Well... there is no doubt. Edge will win. I would say otherwise but I mean come on. He won the Rumble and Smackdown might as well have changed its name to Edge-Tastic Dos Hours because the entire show revolves around Edge now. So yea. I give it to Edge.

Undertaker vs. HBK

I have seen other previews for WM XXVI. They all say HBK will lose because the title of Streak-Ender should be put on a young star. I say that I would only make since to let HBK get it. Yes. HBK has talked about retiring. But if you will, imagine Undertaker. Think of that one scene in Epic Movie (I think it was Epic Movie.). The one scene where a person impersonating Rocky was boxing someone else. He took one punch and dissolved into dust. That is what Taker will be like if he goes on one more year. His hip is.. like... not even there any more. So honestly I see this going either way. What would be really interesting would be a... DOUBLE COUNT OUT. YEA! Nobody saw that one coming. It would be an easy way to kill Undertaker and HBK in one amazing and quick swoop. I mean if Taker loses his Streak, then he is done. If HBK loses, of course, he is done. But I can't see either Michaels or Undertaker going another year. And I feel it would be more poetic if they both died at the same time, than if Taker or Michaels came out in August and said "Hey guys. I quit. Suck my balls". You know what I mean?

Cena vs. Batista

If there was a Slammy Award for Stale Ass Superstar of the Year, Cena and Batista would be co-holders. I am tired of Cena being Superman. I mean how long can it last? I feel like if Cena is the new Hogan, then Batista is an equally sucky being of pure suck. At least I can keep my food down when I watch him now because of the whole Bad Ass gimmick. I am so tired of seeing the same people at WrestleMania every year. The reason this year's Mania is so awesome is because Edge vs. Jericho is a Co-Main Event. WHICH IS A BIG IMPROVEMENT IN MATCH QUALITY! So... I don't really care who wins, but because Cena is Cena, I say Cena.

MITB

AKA. The Wrestlemania Super Spotfest. Here is the deal. Bourne is in this match? Who knew? Swagger is king of the lower mid-card of RAW so he is out. Kane takes that title for Smackdown so he is out to. MVP is suffering from glass ceiling syndrome so I am calling him inelligable. Shelton also is suffering from GCS. That leaves McIntyre, Ziggler, Kingston, Matt Hardy, and Christian. I remember when Smackdown needed main eventers, and Matt Hardy was seriously on the edge of being in the main event. I think he deserves it, but I think he should get one more year of pure pushing until they give it to him. McIntyre is under the "Mid-Card Curse". If you are the Intercontinental or U.S. Champion, YOU AINT WINNIN NO MITB! You can quote me on that if you would like. I think Christian deserves it. So does Kofi. But if the winner isn't Kofi or Christian, I will be surprised.

I am more careless than Cena vs. Batista. This match is going to be my piss break. Might even make popcorn for a better match. I will go with ShowMiz. Better end with a Falcon Punch or else I will be so angry.

Rey vs. CM Punk

Punk wins. Smackdown has an amazing gimmick at stake if they book wrongly. This is true. I mean I can't even imagine this feud ending at Mania. And I think a feud between these two can grow into something amazing. And I am tired of Rey with a mask. He has done everything with his mask. And I feel that if this can turn him heel and make him loss the mask. Which can give him some new feud material. But this is just me.

Bret vs. Vince

Sheamus vs. Triple H

Triple H could be doing a "passing of the torch" night. I mean it is no secret that Trips loves the pale dude. I mean some blame Sheamus's run as champion as a Triple H push. So why wouldn't Trips give him the win. Well let's look at facts. Triple H is in the mid-card. That is serious. I mean, this is like the first time in I don't even remember. Also, Trip is like 50. I mean the dude is getting old! It might just be time to pass it on. But I think that it could go either way.
