Myself, Gladiator and Michael Saint have all been discussing our current status, and we've all come to the agreement that the size of the roster and small turnout for the show just isn't enough support to keep SWA going. We appreciate everyone who signed to be on the roster, but the truth is it's just barely enough to keep us going. It would require every person signing up for every card to keep a decent show going.
I can't speak for everyone else, but for me, running and writing for SWA was the most fun I've ever had creatively. All of us on staff love writing here. We're all very open to doing future cards under the SWA name. Writing in this fed is totally different from all others I've been a part of, and I'd love to plan annual events on this site. All of us have agreed to keep the site running with the intentions of doing large interfed competitions once or twice a year. It would be something unique and entertaining, so expect something planned for the fall.
Anyone looking for a current fed should check out APW. I can personally recommend it, and am hoping to do some work there in the future myself.
Keep checking the site, as I'm hoping to evolve it in the coming weeks to focus on articles and rants, with some focus on profiling events in other feds. Thanks go out to everyone who has contributed here over the years. In no way is this the last you'll see of SWA. As I said, there will be some great interfed competitions and supercards we're looking forward to hosting on this site.
